Chapter 1

[Skylar's Pov]
I was sitting on the bus after leaving the airport for Camp Wildton. I sit back and relax while waiting for the bus to arrive, the bus ride wasn't that fun. I was listing to music and trying to figure out who I'm going to meet and hopefully, I'll find romance or a girlfriend, but that happening is slim to none. I realize we're near the camp when I see the sign. As the bus pulled up, I took a deep breath.
I'm 13 years old, 4'11, have long blonde hair and green eyes. If you're wondering why I came out at a young age, don't blame me that I just knew my sexuality.
"Okay Skylar, you got this," she said to her self.
"Seems like you don't have much confidence," a girl said.
"Why does that matter?"
"I don't know, I can only tell by the body language."
"I do have confidence, it's just my first year here."
"I came here last year since this camp is for teens ages 13-17. My name's Ella."
"Skylar."
"So where are you from?"
"Colorado."
"I'm from Utah."
"So what cabin do you think you'll be in?" Skylar asked.
"I don't know."
We walked to grab our bags and once we got them a counselor called their names.
"Jenkins, Skylar, King, Ella, Prescott, Lily, Cabin 18," she said.
A girl walked up to us, "Are you two Skylar and Ella?"
We nod and we head to the cabin. The girls sigh.
"I'm Lily so who's who?"
I laugh, "I'm Skylar."
"I'm Ella."
Lily shook her head.
"This summer is going to be good. I just can feel it."
I blink, "I don't know how fun this summer would be but it's going to get interesting."
Ella shrugged, "Yeah, here's the cabin."
I open the door and breathe in the cabin air.
"Well at least it's clean," I said.
Ella turned around, "Hmm, I can enjoy this."
"So ready to do something."
We decided to get to know each other. I look out the window and that's when I see her. The moment I layed eyes on the cutest girl I've ever seen.

[Chloe's Pov]
Why is there a girl looking at me, I gave her a wink and a flirty smile and went on my way. I was walking to my cabin when I heard a voice. It was familiar.
I'm 5'4 and that's how tall I'm going to be, I have long brunette hair and brown eyes. I came out when I was 14.
"Look who's back for her 3rd year, Chlostorm," it was Nicole out of all people.
"Hey Nicole," I said.
"So Chloe 3rd year in a row, when will it be your last?"
"I don't know, maybe, it depends if I return next year. But let's focus on this year."
Something felt off, "Where's Michelle, Jessica and, Zoey."
"Probably didn't want to come this year."
"Yeah, they probably have significant others, but hey nothing can stop the two of us. Not one bit."
"So confident Chloe I'm not shocked at all."
"Very funny."
We walked into our cabin to see a girl already sitting on one of the beds. She eyed us and looked back down. I shrugged and Nicole sighed. I sat on one of the beds and sighed.

I was walking with Nicole to the cafeteria when I noticed that girl again, she is cute after all, I hope I see a lot of her this year. I walk into the cafeteria and one of the counselors" stands up on the podium.
"After you all eat, you can go do some activities, but tomorrow you all will be put into groups."
Everyone was happy about that. I smirk.
"I know what I'm going to do first. Archery," I said.
Nicole laughed, "Yeah, and good luck with that."
Nicole's boyfriend showed up, god this guy is so annoying. His name is Donavon, some people call him Don.
"Nicole, what's up, I haven't seen you since the bus," he said.
"Don, that was an hour and a half ago," Nicole said annoyed.
"Oh no Chlostorm is back to attack," he said.
"Shut up Michaels," I mutter.
"So Chloe what do you think about that girl sitting over there?" Don asked pointing to the girl I seen twice already.
"She's cute," I said.
Don eyes her, "She's all yours."
"Dude, I barely know her. I don't even know if she's a lesbian."
"Sorry."
"Just stop bro," a voice said, "Let the girl figure out which girl she wants to date on her own."
"Come on Vince," Don muttered.
"Just leave her alone man."
"Vince, first-year your girlfriend didn't show up, I'm shocked."
"Stephanie had to stay in Atlanta this year, due to reasons she told me not to say."
"You know what I'm going to introduce myself to her."
"Good luck," the three said.

[Skylar's Pov]
I see a girl walking towards me. She was walking towards my table and she had a smile on her face.
"Ella, you see that girl coming to us?" I ask.
Ella turned her head, "Oh yeah, she probably saw you and wants to know your name."
"She's probably straight."
The girl came over to our table and sat down.
"Hi I'm Chloe," she said.
"Skylar."
"You're new here aren't you?"
"You can tell?"
"Yeah, hey I'm about to go to the archery range, wanna join me? We can get to know each other better a little bit."
"I guess, that sounds fun."
We walked to the archery range, I eyed Chloe.
"Where's the archery range?"
"Down here aways, would you need help?"
"Where are you from?"
"Colorado."
"Same, Town?"
"Norris Canyon."
"Oh my, same, how old are you?"
"15."
"I'm 13."
Chloe stopped me in my tracks. She turned towards me.
"I just moved to Norris Canyon last week, why didn't I see you on the plane?"
"I'm not sure."
"Anyway, that's the lake, where you can boat or swim. Those are the basketball hoops, that's ziplining, and they have other activities too. Hey, you stared at me through the window of the cabin."
"Sorry."
"No, I'm not mad."
"You aren't?"
"Nah, I didn't know you then."
"I'm kind of glad, we're going to get to know each other."
"Here's the archery range, ready to see me in action?"
"Yeah, I guess."

I watched her shoot arrows. I noticed Ella walking with a girl I noticed they were walking over to a tree and they started making out.
"Hey Chloe, is that a make-out tree over there?"
"Yeah, everyone is almost buddied up either with a guy or a girl depending on their preference."
"Do you have a special someone?" I asked, 'SERIOUSLY DOES SHE HAVE A SPECIAL SOMEONE? WHAT THE HELL JENKINS,' I thought.
"Oh no, just waiting for the right girl to walk my way."
"That's what I'm doing the same. I came out like 2 months ago. I'm trying to keep my options open."
Chloe turned to look at me, "I admire that."
I shrug, "I want to know the girl first, before making a move I'm still young and innocent so I have to take my time."
"As I learned my first year here, never rush into anything if you're not comfortable."
Chloe got almost all the targets, she walks back over to me. She points at the target.
"That took a lot of practice."
"It looks like you got half of them."
"Hey you two, I was just talking to Jasmine over by the tree, what are you two up to," Ella asked walking over to us."
I frown, "You two were kissing."
"Hey don't blame me, she kissed me."
Chloe eyed me, "See you later Skylar." Chloe walked off. I crossed my arms. Ella had a strange look on her face.
"Ok you caught me, I have a girlfriend, she's my age, she lives in Germany," she said.
I shook my head, "So you're..." I started.
"Bi," Ella finished.
"So Jasmine, how did you meet Ella."
"I just happened to fall into her arms and the rest is history," she said.
"Ella isn't it strange you only see her once a year?"
"No we facetime each other every day when we can or text, too bad connection is s**t out here, we started dating 3 months ago, she was ready."
Chloe came back, "I had to talk to someone, Skylar do you want to walk with me, you two can as well if you want."
We decided to. I look at Chloe who has a serious look on her face. She turned to look at us.
"Yeah, this is good, perfect, I got asked to play a game of basketball against a few of the guys, they want 4 on 4, so this should be a perfect team."
"Really?"
"Yup."
"Chloe I might have to show my power, I was on my 7th-grade team, I'm going for it in my 8th-grade year as well," I said.
"Skylar, these guys are a joke. They're still cool though."

[Chloe's Pov]
"Boys, just to warn you we got a good player on the team, Skylar, I know she might be small but she said she's good," I said.
Donavon laughed, "Nikki's over there and she's going to record this game."
Vince crossed his arms, "Right, and who are these three?"
I roll my eyes, 'Why are these 2 such idiots,' I thought, don't get me wrong I might be a lesbian but I do have friends that are guys, it's just some who act like idiots.
"Do you three care to introduce yourself to them?"
Skylar spoke up, "I'm Skylar and you're going down, bitch."
"I'm Ella," Ella said.
"I guess I'm Jasmine, trust me in my country I'm considered good or average," Jasmine said with a laugh.
Vince smirked, "Ok, now this is Matt and Zack."
I frown, "I know asswipe." God, why is Vince like this?
Don said, "Let's begin, ready to lose?"
"This is just for fun."
One of the counselors spotted us, "Ok you nine, you'll be a group with one more person." Then he walked off.
"Ok let's get started," I said.
I guess I'm going to enjoy this summer a lot.
