CHAPTER 02 (Being neutralized by Cole)

She swallowed hard and tears ran down her cheeks.

“Look, I love you Mel but no man can be faithful to a woman who’s boring in bed, that’s why I went out there but that doesn’t mean I don’t love you babe.”

She sniffed, feeling more heart broken by his words.

“well I guess you didn’t deserve to f#ck me with your doggy style cause the guy that f#cked me last night with that doggy style, he f#cked me good and I enjoyed it! ”

She lied about the enjoying part.

“I was busy screaming out his name as he made me squirm and c#m!”

She continued talking trying to hurt him too.

“ What did you just say?....you did what…..you….you cheated on me Melody?”

He said with an angry tone, sounding sober now.

“We broke up, I dumped your as$ remember, so whomever I sleep with from now on is none of your business!”

She dropped the call and sat down crying, because his words about how she sucks in bed hurt her deeply. Anyway, after sometime she got up and went to prepare something to eat, then out of the blue, she heard a loud bang on the door.

“MELODY OPEN THIS F#CKEN DOOR. I KNOW YOU ARE IN HERE…OPEN THIS F#CKEN DOOR NOW!”

She jumped in fear because he sounded angry and he was busy banging on the door hard.

“HOW DARE YOU CHEAT ON ME, HOW DARE YOU F#CKEN GIVE ANOTHER MAN MY P#SSY? YOU ARE MINE MELODY AND I WANT HIS F#CKEN NAME…YOU ARE MINE AND I’LL SHOW YOU WHAT I DO TO SLUTS THAT DOUBLE CROSS ME! ”

She quickly called Erin shaking because Stanley sounded deadly now. She now regrets saying all that to him, she was scared no lies.

“Stanley is here Erin and he’s busy banging on the door sounding angry, he called earlier and out of anger I boosted to him about what I did last night and now he’s here”

She said with a shaky voice.

“sh#t ok look under no circumstances should you open that door you hear me?…. I'm on my way….don’t open for him Mel”

“OK I won't… please hurry im scared. I don’t want to end up like all those women that were killed by their boyfriends or exes please”

She said crying.

“I'm coming babe, just don’t open for him and you’ll be safe”

Dineo said panicking.

They ended the call and Melody pushes the couch to the door to block it and the banging stopped.

“ I'm NOT GOING ANYWHERE UNTIL YOU OPEN THIS F#CKEN DOOR ME, TODAY YOU WILL SH#T YOURSELF IM TELLING YOU…..YOU F#CKEN CHEATED ON ME…ME STAN….I WILL SHOW YOU WHO I AM!”

She just sat down and cried.

Erin quickly gets out of bed and she wears her clothes and grabs her handbag and run downstairs with her heart beating fast, and she finds Richard and his friend in the living room chatting away while drinking whiskey and ooh the “friend” is none other than the guy Melody had a one-night stand with at the club.

" I'm…I'm sorry to disturb but I need to leave Richard "

She says with a breaking voice and Richard gets up and rushes to her.

" babe what’s wrong? "

He asks with a concerned tone.

" my…my sister is in danger, her ex is at our place and he’s angry and stuff and she said he’s busy banging on the door threatening her, i have to go "

She says all that with tears running down her cheeks, she's scared for Melody because she knows how crazy Stanley can be. Well, she attempts to walk past him but he grabs her arm.

"I’ll drive you. Let's go "

She rushes to the door and Richard grabs his car keys.

"you coming man"

"ummm no, I’ll see you later "

"dude come on, from there we will go past the club and deal with that issue."

The friend huffs and gets up.

"I’ll follow you"

Richard rushes out and so does his friend and they find Erin waiting by Richards' car. The drive seems long for her as she keeps on silently praying that Stanley doesn’t manage to enter their flat or that Mel doesn’t open for him. After what felt like forever, they arrive and Erin quickly gets out and she sees Stan sitting on his car bonnet smoking. He looks angry and when he spots her he hoops off and rushes to her.

"it’s you isn’t it, it’s you who taught Mel to wh#re around right?"

He says pointing at her and she moves back a bit then Richard pushes her behind him.

"Stanley? boy what do you think you are doing?"

"stay out of it man, this is between me and this b***h. She's teaching my girl to wh#re around!"

"don’t bore me Stan you hear me. Mel broke up with you and it’s been three weeks!"

"piss off b#tch, piss off. Mel and I will never be over and what she did is all your fault. She is a good girl! "

The friend saw a commotion and he got out of the car. He sees Mazwi and Richard looking angry then he rushes to them.

"what did you just say?"

He asks him talking a step closer.

" Stanley stand down or I’ll f#cken make you boy!"

Richie says with an angry tone.

"what are you doing Stan"

The friend asks and Stan looks at his uncle while breathing heavily."

"Stay out of this uncle, it doesn’t concern you "

" Cole you better talk to this boy before I knock his teeth out "

He says looking angry and Cole walks closer to Stan .

" I said what are you doing?"

Cole says through his teeth, looking angry and Stan swallows hard. He takes a step back because he knows how his uncle Cole is, he’s ruthless and doesn’t take sh#t.

"She….she turned my girl into a wh#re, i hate this b#tch. She’s the reason Mel is behaving the way she is"

Erin laughs.

"Which girl? aren’t you married Stan didn’t you send us to go pay dowry for the girl you impregnated? "

"Married? wow"

Erin claps her hands once and she laughs and Stan's face falls and he looks down.

"You are here busy embarrassing yourself and ruining the family name for some girl while your wife is back home pregnant. What's wrong with you, are you crazy?"

Cole says looking angry and Stan takes a step back because he knows how his uncle is.

"uncle i…."

Cole interrupts him.

"f#ck off, now get in your car and f#ck off from here or I’ll f#cken make you! "

He says taking a step closer to him, and Stan moves back a bit again.

"NOW! "

"You are not the boss of me Cole, you are not my father so you won’t tell me what to do"

He doesn't see it coming because Cole punches him on his throat and he falls on the ground holding his throat struggling to breathe, then Cole grabs him by his arm roughly and he drags him to his car. He roughly pushes him in and he also gets in and drives away leaving people around, including Erin shocked.

"Baby let me go after them just to make sure he doesn’t do worse than what he just did"

"ummm sure I’ll…I’ll see you around"

Richard chuckles looking at her.

" And this wasn’t a one-night stand. We will talk later "

He kisses her forehead, and he gets in his car and drives away and Erin sighs. She then rushes inside the building.

"Mel open up its me, he’s gone..... open up "

Mel quickly gets up and she moves the couch from the door then she opens the door and Erin quickly hugs her and she just cries. After some time, she calms down and they close the door and sit down.

" I'm glad you didn’t open "

" the way I was scared sis, yho I even thought he would kick the door open "

Erin sighs.

" can you believe he says I'm the one who taught you to wh#re around"

Mel's eyes pop out.

" I hope you told him sh#t, i only slept with one guy after we broke up and automatically I'm a wh#re, wow"

"and can you believe he even went to pay dowry for that b***h he impregnated"

She said with her eyes popped out.

Tears run down Mel's cheeks and Erin comforts her.

"It's ok friend, he’s not worth your tears"

She sobbed painfully.

"Shhh it's ok, I know I was here all along remember? so I know how much you love him. "

She said brushing her back gently, then Erin sighed.
