Zuka’s POV:
A knock was on my door while I was working, and I assumed it was my right hand man, Trevor, so I let them in.
"Zuka, we have a problem."
It was Colby, accompanied by Jasmine. "Any problem?" I questioned.
"Um.. Mighty and Halo returned from a flight without a rider and," Jasmine paused, tears brimming in her eyes and her words tight, "there was a disturbing letter meant for you to read."
Colby nodded at his fiance so she could excuse herself and he closed the door behind him once she was out of the room. He handed me the letter, his expression dull and horribly saddened. I had never ever seen him like this, and it was strange to see my usually happy and smiling brother be put in this state.
I opened the letter, the handwriting I had never seen before.
