The Last pillar Falls

262 Words
I thought the worst was behind me when I finished high school, but the true nightmare was just beginning. Entering university was a battle; my brothers tried every way to block my path, treating my dreams like a crime. Only my eldest brother stood as my shield. He was the one who held my hand when the world tried to push me down. But fate is a cruel thief. While I was at university, striving for a better life, the news hit me like a thunderbolt my eldest brother, my only supporter, was gone. He had passed away. I returned home in a state of total shock. The only light in my life had been extinguished, leaving me alone in a den of wolves. In my final year of university, under my mother's harsh pressure, I was forced to move into my other brother's house. I wasn't a guest; I was a prisoner. I was subjected to constant humiliation, physical abuse, and unspeakable oppression by him and his wife. His wife was a woman of dark shadows, a practitioner of sorcery and witchcraft. And the most painful betrayal of all? My own eldest sister was the one helping her against me For two long years, I was forbidden from even seeing the sunlight. I lived in a cage of darkness, pain, and injustice. Every day was a struggle to keep my soul alive while my own blood tried to crush it. I was a bird with broken wings, waiting for a miracle in a place that didn't know the meaning of mercy.
