Chapter Ten As she sat back at her desk, Claire felt the contact on her thigh and removed the forgotten envelope she had earlier secreted in her pocket. The front was blank but as she turned it to access the flap she saw that Vine had written on the back in small lettering: ‘our secret’. Her trepidation started again and cut through the elation she was feeling from the information the tape had garnered. She hurriedly ripped the envelope open and unfolded the enclosed notepaper.
