The second apartment had a bigger kitchen, but the third bedroom was like a closet. I was fine with it, but my mother wasn't. When Stacey pushed open the door to the third apartment, I fought back the urge to cry. It felt exactly like the house we had at the pack. Dark blues and grays decorated the living room.
