Putting Jaden off was only the right thing to do, he had continued pestering Daphne, until we got into the car.
The silence back home was dreaded, I didn't know what was going through Daphne's mind, but I could tell that they weren't pretty.
“I want out of this! I. Do. Not. Want. This. Anymore.” she screamed at me, immediately the elevator shut behind us.
