Daphne's POV
“What are you going to do?” Irene threw the question at me as though I had a choice. I was left with just one, which was to go back to them.
“ Do you think he would have gotten to know where exactly they were without the kids saying a word… I know…” it was almost impossible that they had, they had no idea who exactly their father was.
Guilt laced at me as the possibility that I was going to leave her behind filled every part of my being.
