Selene was still unconscious as the doctor and nurses surrounded her.
Damien was outside the ward waiting patiently but he was a different definition of patient,he was not patient. All that filled his mind was why did she faint.

Selene slowly opened her eyes, her vision blurry, as she tried to sit up. Her head throbbed with pain, and her stomach felt like it was twisting in knots. The sterile smell of a hospital room hit her nose as she glanced around, confused.
"You're awake," a voice said from the side.
Selene turned her head, only to find Damien sitting in a chair beside her bed, his eyes fixed on her with an unreadable expression.
"What happened?" she whispered, her voice weak. She tried to push herself up but was immediately stopped by a soft hand on her arm.
