Chapter Fourteen The Journey The truth is out there but who wants to see it. Shifty and I were heading to Glasgow to visit Rodger. We were on our own and, as always, not on good terms. The next day after Rodger’s accident I had woken dazed and confused, wondering whether I should see Rodger, I wanted to; I wanted to be the good woman, and hold his hand.
