Chapter Twenty-Four
Sheryl drove into the garage in her new van with
‘SHERYL’S DIY NO JOB TOO SMALL’
written on the side.
It had been a busy day for Sheryl. Steven had booked four jobs for her. Steven took most of her bookings for DIY. Steven had put a poster in the library and one in the community centre (where he now taught creative writing), and it wasn’t long before Sheryl was busy enough to buy a van.
Sheryl jumped out of the van and ran into her flat above the garage, slipped a Hossam Ramsey CD on and jumped into the shower. Steven, along with Imogene and Chubby, were picking her up in twenty minutes.
