"Where are you going?" Selina asked when Rowan stared at her like he’d just been caught doing something suspicious. She pretended she hadn’t heard anything earlier. Rowan narrowed his eyes a little, then chose to play it cool. "I was looking for you," he said. "You were gone forever. Raven almost cried because he missed you so much," he added loudly enough for Raven to hear. He stepped aside so Selina could pass him and walk in. "Stop lying," Raven snapped. Rowan looked offended. "Excuse me? A second ago you said you couldn’t live without Selina, remember?" Raven shot him a murderous glare and hurled a pillow at him, but Rowan dodged easily, flashed a smug grin, then walked out laughing as he shut the door.
