Nathan took a few minutes to do just that, and once he was finished, he silently passed them off to Rick for perusal.
When his brother-in-law’s eyebrow raised slightly as he read, Nathan knew for sure that he and Rick had formed the exact same opinion.
Susan Lawford’s hunch was spot on. Sophie Drimmel had potentially stumbled right into the middle of a massive – and deadly - hornet’s nest.
“Can you give us just a moment, please? We’ll be right back,” he told them, and indicated to Rick to join him in the hall.
They spoke in hushed tones the moment that Nathan’s office door was firmly closed behind them.
“Rick, we need to know the origin of the last call Sophie made - and I need you to get copies of those ten death certificates as soon as possible.”
