I wanted to trust the kids. They have never let me down when it comes to telling people about our lives. I didn't want to start hounding them with questions about their day with Wes, but I couldn't shake the feeling that yesterday could be the start of our downfall.
“Lucy, you need to relax. Your day off was supposed to relax you and you look more wound up than usual," Serena said, helping me fold clothes.
