“I love you. I’ll call you again before I go to work,” I tell Andy on the phone, still lying in bed. I slept in until almost noon. I had a hard time getting to sleep last night and when I finally did, Andrew called me. Seeing the man that reminded me of Carder had me pretty shaken up, but it couldn’t have been him. He wouldn’t be in a werewolf pack’s property, right? It would be too hazardous for someone like him.
“I still don’t see why you can’t just come here. Cori said the bar has been getting less business. They don’t need you,” Andrew grumbles.
“Andy,” I huffed, not wanting to argue again.
“I know, I know,” he mumbles, “Call me before work. I love you too.”
Hanging up, I sat up and stretched in bed. I need to get boxes and start packing up my belongings to move to the packhouse.
