Ciaran dropped to the ground of a familiar place. He scrambled up to his feet and stood still to regain his bearings. He recognized this place. His stolen capsule from Black Rock was shot down here before Sizx had picked him up.
He’d been shot out from a dimensional hole and had somehow ended up here. There was something about District Six that warranted a closer look. But for now, he needed to make a move. Madeline and his father were still back at Xiilok.
He heard the faint sound of an incoming capsule. He wondered if it was Sizx, coming to give him assistance, but he quickly brushed that thought away.
The capsule landed close to where he stood. Emerging from the capsule was, indeed, Sizx. To Ciaran’s relief, following her was Ayana.
