Waking at 5a.m. after tossing, turning and dreaming about my superhero photo, I grabbed my phone. We had been the leading hashtag in the US, France and Russia for more than twelve hours. A couple of pesky political crises knocked us off the pedestal. Last night, the local TV stations had run the behind-the-scenes footage as promised. A strong result. But would other traditional media run the images? It was too early to find out.
In the meantime, to preserve my sanity, I needed to run. Unnerved by the dark sky and streetlights when I started, the rhythm of my gait and beauty of the city enveloped me.
