“Mine,” Maddox murmured against my lips, tousled brown hair a mess on his head. He let out a low guttural growl, his muscles flexed against his dark gray crewneck and his canines emerging from under his lips. “You’re mine, Jade. I’m not going to make the mistake of letting you leave my bed without a mark again.”
I purred at the thought of him claiming me, desperate for him to touch me more. Pressing my hands against his chest to feel the taut and swollen muscle underneath his shirt, I curled my fingers into him.
