My heart is racing like crazy. What the f**k did I just see?
Who was that?
A knock on the door made me jump. I need to get a grip on myself. This is embarrassing.
"Miss? Are you okay?" I heard a man talk behind the door and I guess it could be the bartender.
"Yes. I'm fine."
"Okay."
Hopefully Adam didn't hear my scream.
I sit down on one of the chairs and use my hand as a fan.
"That was her trying to get into your head."
"I am getting sick of this. What are you talking about?"
And that was it. Why so much secrecy?
Can't she just tell me who the hell that was and what she wants with me?
I shake my head dissatisfied, get up from the chair, fix my coverall and get out.
