I hope she will say yes. I want her to say yes, even though it is too soon.
She looks confused and I think I have made a mistake. She doesn't look like she wants to be in a relationship with me.
"I'm sorry. I pressured you . . .you don't have to answer that."
"No, it's okay. You just took me by surprise. I mean, it's too soon, we don't even know each other that well."
"I know, yeah."
"What if we are not in a relationship, but continue to go out and get to know each other, until we decide if we want to be together," she suggested, and it occurred to me that if I want to make things work with her, I'll have to do anything she wants. I don't mind. As long as she does not go out with anybody else, other than me.
