“Zane, I will ask you just one question. Answer honestly, ok?” Alpha Eliezer looked at me. “When you visited the Elinor mountains, did you encounter anything strange?”
He asked in a cautious tone. It was as if he was trying to get the words out of me without revealing much on his own. I didn’t know what to do, but I also didn’t know what was going on. Meanwhile, he and others seemed to have an idea about present events. It was only logical to tell him everything. So I told him everything from the start of my journey with Irene until the end. Of course, I didn’t reveal that I helped her escape and our private times in the mountains or about our relationship. I promised her not to speak about our private lives to anyone else.
