Twilight twin festival is celebrated a month before the biggest eclipse of the year. It is the day to please two twin brothers Skoll and Hati. This day is celebrated in three rituals. Starting from dawn till twilight. Siblings wake up before sun does and tie stars on the wrists of one another using a blue ribbon. Then they face the sky where the last ray of moon meets the first ray of sun and wish for each other’s safety, happiness and well-being.
This lasts until the sun is completely overhead, till noon. Then the second phase starts an hour after noon. In this phase, we played different games with the siblings; we enjoyed delightful meals, fairs were organised, etc, this goes on until the sun sets.
