Queen Inara fell on the sand. I shook her body, “queen! Queen!” I called out, but she wasn’t responding. Just then, Amon rushed to her and pushed me away from her. With a tense face, he glared at me.
He checked her pulses, placed his ear over her chest that was dyed red with her blood. His body loosened as if his limbs had gone numb. He placed her body on the sand gently and contemplated her before sliding his fingers over her frozen opened eyes and closed them. My heart pulsated against my chest as my body quivered with impatience.

I was peering blankly at queen Inara when the dark whips like tattered clothes wrapped around Amon and pulled him in midair, stretching his limbs as if they wanted to tear him apart, alive.
