[Irene Miles’ POV]
I wasn’t even able to see what had happened, but both the dark energy balls had been destroyed, leaving behind the similar fog like before. The man pointed towards the sky that was dark as night and then swiftly pointed to the ground. Thunder struck the ground he was standing on. I closed my eyes and when I opened them; he was gone. The ground burnt into ashes when the lighting struck.
During all the chaos, what I failed to see was prince Zane had a half melted sword in his hand, but he looked fine and Ryu’s hands were burnt badly. Did they reflect the dark energy? Zane! Ryu!
I tried getting on my feet, but stumbled and fell to the ground again. Too overwhelmed to say a word, I started crying. Does this mean Ryu and Zane have lost their wolf spirits, too? No!
