[Irene Miles POV] The mountain was harsh, eerie, and dangerous. There were places that were made to kill and then there were places that reminded of heaven. In the abandoned summit, I never imagined there would be a place where the air was fresh and warm. The river flowed calmly, surrounded by dead summits. Greyish black rocks tried stopping the path of the crystal clear water but they slipped past them as if the water caressed the rock in their eternal sleep. The bank of the river was covered with smaller rocks that were arranged, making a regular surface with an irregular texture.
