[Irene Miles’ POV] My body was still hazy and his body still cold, but the warmth of happiness to see him back to life was enough to shoot my veins with endorphins. I apologised to him, but couldn’t get myself to the reason I apologised. My breaths were painful and even my jaws seemed locked.
