They finally got out of the hall, and Kelly brought our her phone form her pocket and was checking something on it.
"Guys, check Creek Top secrets website." Kelly said as she was on her phone.
Creek Top secrets website is the website for Creek Top high secrets, and juicy gist, latest news. It is run anonymously by a student in the school, who is very updated about everything going in school.
"What's gonna be there than Jessica and her ugly boyfriend." Maddie said.
"Hey, don't say that, he's definitely ugly, he looks cute duh." Amelia said.
"Tell her, and raise the god damn volume." Kelly said.
"But really you guys, check the website." Kelly added.
"Ok, I will." Maddie said and brought out her phone and went to check the website, Amelia also did the same.
"The major topic of today is, senior year students that won't have a date for the prom night." Maddie read out loud.
"So ?, how is this my business ?" Maddie asked.
"It's actually our business." Amelia said as she was scrolling down the website on her phone, she seemed gasped after seeing what she saw.
"What ?" Maddie asked.
"The three of us are on that list, and there are only like seven students on that list and we are all there." Amelia said.
"There's no way." Maddie said.
"Check it yourself." Kelly said.
Maddie checked it and saw that it was true, her name is indeed there.
"But why ?" Maddie asked looking confused.
"Seriously?" Amelia asked and gave Maddie a serious look.
"Like are you even being for real now ?" Kelly also asked.
"Well, I mean, we can find ourselves a date for prom night." Maddie said trying to assure the girls.
"Looking like this ? I don't think so." Amelia responded without hesitation.
"And with our very boring and serious life, who do you think want to as us out as a date ?" Kelly asked.
"Girls, this is not as serious as it looks, I assure you." Maddie said with confidence.
"Okay, whatever you say mama." Kelly said.
"I mean, who am I to argue with you." Amelia said.
"Did you know that this was one of the reasons I wan tus to meet at mine today." Maddie said.
"As much as I would love to continue this talk with you Maddie, we are kinda late for chemistry class." Amelia said.
"Snap." Amelia said.
Maddie packed her bag and tied her shoe lace properly.
"Girls, let's run !!" Maddie shouted.
And they all ran to their classes..
Their classes went as usual, the three girls focussed on nothing other than the teacher.
The last class they were having for the day was History, and all the students were in the class waiting for the teacher to come in.
"Gosh, I'm so tired of all this classes" Maddie complained.
"Yeah...me too." Kelly also complained
"I just want this class to end and that is all I care about." Amelia said.
The door opened and the teacher walked in, most of the students were screaming because the history teacher is everyone's favourite teacher, including the three best friends.
The history teacher is everyone's favourite because he is very young and successful, his name is Mr Andrew is very hardworking, he tries his best to make everything hard in subject very easy and lastly, you already know, he is very handsome too,no one likes an ugly teacher. He can be an headache sometime, especially when he gives the student assignment, but still yet he is everyone's favourite.
He dropped his book on the table in front of the class and jumped up with excitement.
"How have you all been?" He shouted with joy.
"Great...boring...fun." Most of the students replied.
"How was yours too ?" Betty, a girl at the back asked.
"It was so great, I was not around annoying kids for a while" He laughed
The whole class laughed after he said that.
"Ok, enough jokes and playing around, let's get back to work" He sounded serious.
"So today, we are going to be looking at the history of Valentine's day" He said while opening his book
The whole class started shouting with joy, this is the type of topic that they love.
"That's enough" He commanded
"As you all know Valentine's day is fast approaching, so we have to discuss about it a bit, as most of us don't know the history of Valentine's day" He added.
Maddie, Amelia and Kelly all seemed so focussed, while the three took out their own and started writing.
"So who can tell me what Valentine's day is about ?" Mr Andrew asked the class and waited for an answer. Maddie, Amelia and Kelly rose up their hands.
"Yeah, we know you know it but I want someone different" He said while he continued to search for another student.
A guy from the back rose up his hand and Mr Andrew called him. The guy stood up and the rest of the student s sitting at the back started cheering him on.
"Valentine's day is a day of love, when we take our date out and have the best night of our lives." He said as he laughed.
The whole class also laughed with him.
"Thank you Jeff, but that is not a comprehensive definition of what Valentine's day is all about." Mr Andrew commented.
"Anyone else?" He asked as he looked around to see if any other student is ready to answer his question. He noticed that Maddie, Amelia and Kelly's hand were still raised. As he noticed that no other hands were raised he had no choice but to call one of them.
"Fine!" He said as he called upon Maddie to explain what Valentine's day is all about.
"Valentine's Day is an annual festival to celebrate romantic love, friendship and admiration. During this period of time so many people share gifts and other things that represents love with each other." Maddie defined.
"A round of applause please." Mr Andrew said.
The whole class clapped for Maddie.
They spent the whole class learning about the history of Valentine's day, how it came to be and why we still celebrate it till today.
"As we are rounding up this class, I want you to know that you are all going to write an essay for me telling me how your last Valentine's day went." Mr Andrew said while most of the class found the assignment so exciting and easy, but it wasn't for the three best friends.
"I want a Valentine's day filled with love, not you writing about you reading a book or studying chemistry and physics" Me Andrew said as he looked at the side where the three best friends were seated.
"That would be all for today" He said as he carried his book, waved bye to them and he went out of the class. And everyone started leaving the class.
"Hey girls, you know he was talking to us right?" Kelly asked the girls.
"Yeah, I know, he was definitely referring to us." Amelia replied.
"Adds more to the reasons we need to have emergency meeting tonight." Maddie said while packing up her bag.
"Yeah, the meeting is a must tonight." Kelly said.
"Ok, see y'all tonight then." Maddie said.
As they were on their way out, they saw that many students of the school were running to the corner of the school.
"Ok, this is so weird." Maddie said.
"Are we to follow them?" Kelly was confused.
"I don't really know." Amelia said.
"But I want to see, feels like something juicy is gong on." Amelia said.
"Seriously?" Maddie said.
"Yeah." Amelia replied.
"Let's go." Kelly said.
They ran to the corner of the school and saw many students gathered around.
"What is going on?" Maddie asked one student that was around that side.
"Two guys are fighting." The student replied.
Maddie, Amelia and Kelly watched as those students were fighting, they were punching themselves really seriously.
"Someone should try to stop them." Kelly said.
"Stop them ? People are actually here for the drama girl."
"What might be the cause of this fight ?" Maddie wondered.
"They are fighting over a girl." A boy in front of Maddie replied.
"Oh, hey Jordan, didn't see you there." Maddie said sarcastically.
"I mean, it must be hard for you to see success, so I'm not shocked." Jordan responded.
Jordan and Maddie have been rivals since middle school, they always try to compete for who is the best in the class till now. Sometimes Maddie might not care about a particular thing but once she hears that he is in the particular thing with her, she becomes so competitive all of a sudden and vice versa.
"Or it's just that I'm kinda blind to see failure." Maddie said.
"No it's the other one." Jordan said.
"You sure?" Maddie asked.
"Okay, that's enough both of y'all, y'all need to pause this competition thing between for now, cause I'm tryna catch another better drama." Kelly said.
"Actually, what she said." Amelia said as she raised her hands and tapped Kelly.
The guys continued fighting and people did not bother to separate them, but they chose to watch them instead.
"Hey Jordan, full context please.
"Apparently, they are fighting because they are both interested in the same girl and she is kinda confused." Jordan explained.
As they were still there, principal Penelope came with a siren, to chase them all from where they were.
The student were already hearing the siren from afar, so they knew that she is coming to get them.
Before she could get to the location of the fight, all the students have already left their. They all ran with all their energy.
Maddie, Kelly and Amelia passed their desperate ways to their houses.
