Our Last Dance

Chapter 19

Maddie parked her car, and carried her bag. She just got to school, she's waiting for Amelia and Kelly to get here. As she was waiting her phone beeped and she checked her phone and saw a text on her best friends group.

"We're here." Amelia texted.

Maddie opened the door of her car, she was wearing a white shirt, a checkered skirt and black boots. As she came out Amelia and Kelly stood by her side wearing the same dress with her but different colours of skirts.

Then they started walking down the hallway as of they were modelling, everybody that were in the hallway immediately turned back to see the hot girls that are walking.

So many guys were drooling, when they saw them. Some girls were recording then as they were walking, Maddie, Amelia and Kelly brushed their hair, slowly as they were walking to look good for the camera.

A guy was carrying so many amount of books out of one office and when he turned and saw them walking, the books fell down immediately.

Everyone in the school was mesmerized by their beauty.

The three best friend got to their locker and carrying some of the books that they need for today's classes.

Then their phone buzzed.

Amelia and Kelly checked their phone to see the notifications, Maddie was busy looking for one book.in her locker.

"Oh my God, we're the cover of bits website." Kelly said with excitement.

"What ?" Maddie was amazed.

"Yeah, and the title of the article is, the hot girls that are the talk.of the school now." Amelia read out.

"Purr." Maddie said as she brushed her hair in a slow and sexy way and danced around in a circle.

"Purr." Amelia and Kelly said at the same time.

Jessica walked in with her friends into the hallway, but no one even bothered to look at her.

She was wearing a black huge top and a short jeans at the bottom, she also wore a Nike sneakers, she thought she was going to be the hottest girl here today.

She continues walking down the hallway with pride, after a while she noticed that no body even bothered to look at her.

Before, people would have already been drooling and falling upon her beauty, but now, no one seems to care.

She hastened her steps and went straight to to her locker, she pretends to be looking for something in her locker.

"Jessica!" Her friends called.

She only has two friends ....... And .......

"Do you know who is on the cover of bits website this week." ....asked.

"Who else but me ?" Jessica said with pride.

"Well apparently, you are not on the cover today." She said.

"What !" She shouted.

"Who is on the cover?" She asked fuming with anger.

"I don't think you would like to know." She answered.

"I asked, who is on the cover ?" She asked again.

"Maddie and her besties." She answered.

"Sh**!!" She shouted.

"This girl won't leave me till she takes every single thing from me."

"The title of the cover is, the three hot girls that are the talk of...." She was saying untill Jessica gave her a side eye that could kill, that was when she knew that she was supposed to shut up.

"Nobody even gave a f**k about me today." Jessica ranted.

"Don't worry, when Dave comes you can just take a little selfie with him, post it on i********: and everybody is going to go crazy about you again. Laura said.

"Yeah, that's what we always do right, you can just do it again." Bella said.

"Girls, I wish I could do that right now, but me and Dave are taking a break right now." Jessica said.

"There's no way, you guys are going in a break right now, what about those photoshoots you planned to do this month ?" Bella asked.

Jessica sighed.

"What if he's planned to break up with you ?" Lara wondered.

"You know what girls, that's enough." Jessica snapped.

The girls just kept their mouth shut.

"I'm going to show that girl who is the boss." Jessica said and walked away, her friends ran along behind her.

Maddie packed her books from the locker and saw Jessica as she was passing by, their eyes met and Jessica took her gaze of her and left with her friends.

"Those losers." Kelly said.

Amelia laughed.

"Girls, I'm coming, give me a minute." Maddie said and ran after Jessica.

"Jessica!" Maddie called.

Jessica continued walking fast away from Maddie.

"Jessica!!"

"Jessica!" She continued calling.

Jessica stoped walking and turned around.

"What is it ?" She asked while she folded her arms.

"Can I speak with you privately." Maddie asked.

"Fine." She said. And gave her friends a dead eye stare.

"Uhm, we'll catch up with you later." Lara said, she quickly understood the eye message.

"Oh, yeah, see you later." Bella said and followed Lara.

Jessica entered an empty class and sat down on the table.

Maddie was so anxious as she followed Jessica, it feels like Jessica is taking her to a place where she is going to kill her silently and nobody would know that she was killed.

After she entered she stood directly in front of Jessica where she sat.

"Uhm, so I want to say.." Maddie stuttered.

"Shh." Jessica said as she placed her hands on her lips, telling her to shut up.

"What makes you think I want to hear what you have to say." Jessica added.

"I know, but you just have to listen..."

"Shhh, I do the talking here." Jessica cuts in again.

Maddie kept quiet.

"So let me tell you something, I know you had eyes on my boyfriend, you sneaky little bi**h." Jessica said rudely.

"I know you have every right to insult me right now, but at least hear me first." Maddie tried to explain.

"You have nothing to defend yourself, you slut." Jessica insulted.

"Hey, I came here to apologize, even though I hate you so much, but I will not stay quiet and allow you to start insulting me and calling me a slut." Maddie was beginning to get angry.

"Is that not what you are? A cheap little slut." Jessica insulted.

"Ok that's it, I was feeling really bad for you as a girl, not knowing that you don't deserve any sympathy, you ugly piece of s**t, your boyfriend endured looking at your ugly face for a long time but he couldn't take it anymore, then he brought me into the picture." Maddie ranted out.

"Oh no you didn't." Jessica said.

"Oh yes I did.

"You know what you little piece of s**t, I'm going to make you pay for what you just said now, I'm going to get my revenge on you." Jessica blurted out with anger.

"What are you going to do, beat me up? Tell the whole world your boyfriend cheated with me ?" Maddie asked.

"Not even close to what I'm going to do to you, i'll make you regret the day you were born." Jessica said.

"Oh my gosh!!, I'm scared!!!" Maddie said sarcastically.

"You know what f**k you." Jessica said as she walked out of outside the classroom with anger. Maddie so followed as she made her way back to her locker.

"What are you guys doing together ?" Kelly asked immediately Maddie got to them.

"Hmm, nothing." Maddie did not hesitate to reply.

"Nothing indeed." Amelia said.

"It's nothing serious." Maddie said.

"Whatever." Amelia responded.

"Girls, Chris is there with his friends." Kelly quickly noticed.

Amelia and Maddie quicky turned their heads to the direction he is with his friends.

"So are you going to talk to him ?"Maddie asked.

"Yes." She said with full affirmation.

"Did he even text you after that night with him ?" Maddie asked.

"No he didn't, I guess he really is a player." Kelly replied.

"He's a bastard, are you going to fight with him now ?"

Amelia asked while staring at Chris and his friends like she is going to beat them up.

"No." Kelly immediately said and held Amelia trying to calm her down.

"I'm just going to talk to him." She added.

"He is really lucky that it is you he is doing this too and not me, or else he would have been a dead meat." Amelia said.

"He would be dead long ago." Amelia said, while maddie was nodding her head in agreement.

"I'm gonna do it." Kelly finally mustered up the courage to go.

"Wish me luck." She said as she wanted to leave.

"Girl, you don't need luck." Maddie assured her.

Kelly walked up straight to Chris.

"Hey." She said. You could hear the little fear in her voice.

"What's up." He said while looking confused with his friends.

"Can I speak with you privately." She said.

Chris stood up and followed her into another empty class.

"So what is it." He asked.

"Uhm, I just want to ask something from you." She said.

"Yeah, what is it." Chris was already looking tired of this conversation.

"What are we exactly?" She finally asked.

"We ?" He asked.

"Yeah, we." Maddie quickly responded

"I don't really understand your question, but first of, there is no we." He blatantly said.

"What ? After what we did together ?" She asked furiously.

"Yeah, we were only hooking up and that's it." He said.

"We were just hooking up ?" She asked furiously.

"I'm sorry if you think I'm the relationship guy, but I'm not into that. I'm just here for the s*x and that's it." He said confidently.

"I'm not even shocked." Kelly said as she was raised her hands in the air.

"Well you shouldn't be." He said.

"You know what, I would have been still so hurt right now, but I've realized that jerks like you don't deserve my emotions." She said.

"Great, can I go now, I don't really care about all this you're doing." He said as he got more anxious to leave the scene.

"I hope you understand true love one day, that's all I can say to you." Kelly said and walked out of the classroom.

That didn't go the way she wanted it to, but at least she was able to speak what's on her mind.

She walked fast to meet up with Amelia and Maddie.

"How was it ?" They asked.

"I feel great, even though he doesn't have any sigh of remorse, i still feel great.

"I'm happy for you." Maddie said.

Amelia opened her arms and looked at Kelly, she immediately hugged her. Maddie also came to join the hug.

"When are you going to resolve your issues with your former crush Jaden?" Maddie asked Amelia.

"I don't really know." Amelia answered.

"That's on another level for you." Kelly said.

"Yeah, completely." Amelia responded.

As they were talking, Chris and his friend came in, everyone around the hallway was also looking at him and the girls were drooling over him.

Kelly and Amelia were so immersed into his look that they forgot that they were all talking to Maddie about something.

Maddie saw him and took her face immediately. She avoided eye contact with him.
