“We could still hang out sometime. “ he says and I mutter a “yeah” before I take my textbook again, not sparing another look at him.
“You do realize what you just did, didn't you…” Maria declares, it’s not a question and I shrug.
“I don’t have time for guys. Especially guys like Will. “
Then I remember James and for some reason that pisses me off.
“I acted a bit bitchy just now, didn’t I? “ I glance between the two and Peter rubs his nose.
“Nah. You were fine. They are used to everyone adoring them. It’s a nice change. “
Maria gives him a poisonous look before she picks up her book again. We go for coffee eventually and then head home.
