“Vegas?!” I exclaim, “You are going to Vegas? When?”
“It’s only for a few days. I am sure we’ll do the job faster than planned. “ Gabriel says. “I am leaving you enough money, cards, whatever you need. We are leaving tonight. “
“Uh…” I shift nervously, biting my thumb. “You do know this is a terrible idea, right? You can’t just leave me with credit cards and an entire house.”
“Why not?”
“I might do something stupid. “
“You are not alone,” he says.

“Aren’t you going to tell me to not go out, or…”
“I am leaving you with my best trackers. There aren’t many things that can happen if they are near. Also - there aren’t many things you can do without them knowing.“
