He tossed me aside at once, as though all of my wishes were his command, and that vexed me even more. My hands hit the dirt with a thud, and I found that the ground was even slippier, than I had assumed.
Whatever the case, I was miffed. Blake shouldn’t be here acting all mighty to me right now. It was not needed.
Despite my grievances, I slowly rose to my feet as I made my way to the other area of the tree, carefully so as not to alert the boar. My eyes followed through with ever move of his, and it was so scary to watch.
