DIANA I took a step back from him, and I watched as his hands hung in the air. Blake was slightly confused about my reaction, but I knew exactly what I was feeling. "What’s wrong?" He asked, mirroring my thoughts. I took a deep breath as I brushed my hair away from my face. "There is nothing wrong. It’s just that it would be nice if I went home on my own. There is no need to follow me around when you have something that needs your attention. You understand what I mean, right?" I asked softly. Blake looked at me like I had grown two heads. "There is no need for you to say such things, Diana. I would always be here with you, and my work is not so important that I would let you wander around the wilderness alone." "Don’t argue with me. I would take my leave now. Be good," I said stiffly
