I stared at the hone in my hands for a long time.
My thoughts were a whirlwind, contradicting each other so badly that I wanted to scream. I had imagined that all of these would be a walk in the pack. Now, it was mocking me. Why did it feel like my heart was about to break into two just because I had broken up with Diana? I couldn’t understand it.
I slammed the phone against the cradle in frustration. "What is it about you that turns my world upside down?" I cried.
'Maybe, you should call her back, and tell her it is some sort of prank if you still want to get back with her,' my wolf reasoned smugly.
I groaned in response to that. 'This is not some sort of joke. I shouldn’t think about her at all from now on. Her parents don’t like it, and I can’t even stand them!'
