I watched the various expressions fleet through my father’s face, and I couldn’t help but smile at that. It felt so good to be able to bring that emotion back with him. It had been so long since I saw my father happy, and it made me so thrilled.
"Are you really sure about this?" He asked softly.
I nodded softly. "Yes, dad," I said softly.
"Come here," the father said at once.
I wasted no time moving over to my father as he pulled me into a hug. It was like the best thing in life for me, and there was nothing that I wanted more than to be in this sort of situation. Dad’s warmth made me smile, and I held even closer to him. I missed this a lot.
He pecked me on the forehead as he chuckled softly. "My little girl has grown up before I knew it," he whined.
