I had to relax the pain I felt inside.

I didn't want to cause a scene either.

I was in a state of shock, so I swerved to a side.

"Tell me! Why did you come here today?" I asked the Beta, Esther because I felt like the reason why she would come on my wedding mating anniversary had to be for something dubious, if this is what she has to share to me on this special day.

I wished I didn't even find out!

For a moment there... My home was happy and peaceful before this shocker.

I couldn't digest it well.

So it turned out to be that she was my husband's secret mistress all this while and she even had a son for him which they both kept a secret from me?

"How bold did they think of themselves to treat me this way?" I asked.

"Alpha Ronald wanted it kept a secret." She replied to me of which obviously I already knew that my mate was definitely going to ask her to leave in order to have space to deceive me.

"I know that, I let a man manipulate me!" I said as I felt so foolish for loving and obeying all his rules just so we could have a peaceful marriage.

Indeed, for a moment there... It actually did feel great but little did I know that I was working with a devil who only saw me as a pack tool.

He didn't even regard the fact that I had to keep my womb safe yet he forced me into taking those dangerous preventive pills for pregnancy, so this is why he didn't care if my womb was affected?

"He did all that...so I do not interfere in the little family that he had with his mistress who is also his beta, how wicked and selfish!" I cried inside.

"You will be fine." She added.

"Do you realize what predicament this has put me in?" I said to her because it seems like she did not get the picture that I have been married to Alpha Ronald for all this while.

My thoughts of being his only Luna wife and expecting to be the luna who would bring him the heir to the throne was a big lie I thought was my future.

"How will I be fine, When I will be scrutinized and mocked by a pack elders for being the barren Luna who could not give the alpha children?" I asked.

"Do you understand the disgrace and damage Alpha Ronald has done to me?" I asked her again because she had all the chances to stop the marriage at the first period I had come to the pack.

Yet, she kept quiet all these while and it seems to be that even she obviously has deep feelings for my mate and both of them have been having secret affairs all these while in our marriage.

Which means that my mate himself isn't as pure as I had earlier thought.

It meant that he was a cheat and not someone worthy of me being his mate or being in a marriage with him at all.

It was such a shame.

Esther wouldn't lie about this.

It meant her death if she meant to blackmail my mates integrity and insult her honorable beta office.

"Be careful what you say Esther, these allegations could cost you your life." I warned but she seemed botherless.

So all this wasn't some dream!

"You're Luna, you can always have a legitimate heir for him." She said, it was then I understood how foolish this girl was for her to think that I would be a luna in a pack where the heir I would birth would be threatened by the son she had already given birth to for the Alpha.

That alone is a downgrade to me.

"So are you saying that I should feel relaxed and birth an heir whom the alpha can one day pick your son over mine thereby ruining the future of my royal blood? don't you ever think I would be such a fool, if I will ever even do something like that... The compensation must be something really strong and I doubt alpha Ronald can even settle me for the pain and lies he has put me through." I glared at her that instant.

"Luna!" She added.

"Don't Luna me!" I fired back.

"Do you realize he never wanted me to bear a child for him? He never loved me, I was just a tool." I explained to her.

I was highlighting the fact that I was royalty and he used me as a tool to gain regional dominance as Alpha.

This was so that other alphas could fear and respect him... Since my father's powerful pack would as well be in support of his pack through any challenge they would ever face.

I could already smell from the Air that my mate was close by, because his alpha presence was already filling the entire environment, so I walked downstairs with Esther and the child into the parlor where we waited for him to arrive at the private chambers.

"What's happening here?" Alpha Ronald storms into his private parlor where he sees Esther at his first glance trying to understand what situation had occurred because it seemed like she did not even tell him that she was going to visit on our wedding anniversary, I knew that even so she wanted to open up to me... She low key had other ulterior motives towards the Packs future.

I'm a witch too.

"Esther, why are you here today?" He asked before staring at the child that Beta Esther held to her side.

I could see the shock all over his face as he asked her that question with his eyes landing over the child that held onto Esther's hand while I stared at them.

"Ezekiel!?" He called in shock, as he slowly walked towards them, with his eyes glancing at each and everyone at the same time, I could see the panic that was already rushing through his veins.

"Daddy!" Ezekiel his son calls, as he ran towards his father hugging him while I stared at my Alpha faithful mate.
