Darius ignored everyone and walked over to the side where the three of them were enjoying the shade.
Laurel excitedly stood up and handed him her own water bottle. She got it refilled just a few minutes ago, knowing that Darius would need it. Darius took it with a smile and gulped down most of it.
"Alpha, should I send him to guard the border?" Kit asked.
"No, keep him here and pay more attention. He's got a good foundation."
