After General Kora'o left the princess's chambers he wandered around the palace for a while. He had doubts inside, about whether or not to visit Rane one last time. General Kora'o paced back and forth telling himself a reason to visit Rane and the reverse as well, a reason not to visit Rane.
Finally, he decided to visit Rane and left the palace for her family's house. He got there and noticed she was in the barn working while the rest of her family were busy inside the house. At a distance his doubt kicked in once again, he doubted because he knew he was never coming back to her arms and this made him sick to his stomach. He stared at her intensely, memories of the past coming back to his mind.
