After spending the night in the Malfoy Manor Harry was sound asleep in bed. He pulled the warm blankets to his chin and curled into the heat of his pillow. He had slept comfortably and dreamless for the first time in ages.
He just could not understand why his pillow constantly moved away from him.
"Come on Potter, quit it." Draco's raspy voice mumbled from next to Harry, the man's hot breath right on his ear. Harry opened his eyes. He bolted out of the bed away from the grumbling blonde turning away from him. Panic set in as he quickly realised the pillow, he had been cuddling close to was in fact Draco Malfoy's chest.
Draco, however, could not have cared less about what the raven-haired man thought It was too early and he would not get up a minute before five. Dinkey knew to come wake him. Harry was full on panicking he clearly remembered bidding Draco good night in the hallway and retiring to his bedroom alone. Why was Draco suddenly in the same bed as him? What if he had sleep-walked during the night? Would Draco be angry with him? He had to know what happened, he had no idea what the time was, but he could not sleep again knowing that a man who had claimed to hate him was in his bed.
"Draco?" Harry asked carefully tapping the male on the shoulder. The blonde, still groggy with sleep, turned to face Harry. He just wanted more sleep. "Why are you in my bed?" Harry asked. This grabbed Malfoys attention. Harry did not remember. He smirked malevolently; he could play with this situation. He could get more sleep and get Harry next to him and he would tell him the truth later. Despite what really happened Draco had not one dreamless night after that day The day he believed the golden boy to be dead
Draco sat up. The silky white sheets sliding down to reveal Draco's toned torso. Harry gulped. "Don't you remember, Harry?" Draco said looking up. "Don't worry, we still have time to sleep, come back to bed." Draco said tapping the bed next to him.
Harry frowned; he didn't remember what happened the day before, but this was certainly not the same Draco Malfoy he had met the day before With great reluctance Harry climbed back into bed, sure to turn his back on the blonde.
Before long Harry let out a yelp as he was pulled back by a soft cold hand. "What are you doing?" Harry questioned too scared to move. His entire body tensed up and stiffened as he continued to feel the man breathing down his neck. Harry shivered involuntarily as Draco's hand traced his torso and came to a stop just below his chest. Draco snuggled his face deeper into Harry's neck. He sighed contently.
The man understood this blissful moment would not last very long.
"Just let it be, Potter." He mumbled hoping that the man would relax his tense body and enjoy this with him. Harry relaxed against Draco. He let out a sigh as he completely relaxed and pressed his body further into the blonde.
Later that day in Draco's class all the students were curiously eyeing Harry Potter who sat behind Draco's desk reading Hogwarts a history. Truthfully, he was using the book as an excuse not to look at Draco Malfoy. Since, he climbed back into that bloody bed with Draco, he had been positively bothered His mind wandered to everything else he wanted the soft hands on his abdomen to do to him Draco seemed to be blissfully unaware of the effect he had on the raven, whom had been hiding his raging hard on since he got out of bed.
The children were instructed on how to create liquid luck. They stood behind their cauldrons following Draco's instructions carefully as he was reading from a battered old black book. Harry noticed a peculiar trio in the back of the class. He had learned by now that the children wearing green ties were in house Slytherin. The three children were huddled around one table, he wondered why they were not paired up like the rest of the class.
There were two boys and a girl, the girl had flaming red curly hair, one of the boys also had red curly hair but it was cut short. The other boy had blonde hair and was taller than the other two. Draco walked over to the trio. "Well done! Miss Weasley, Mr Weasley, Mr Longbottom. You may fill these vials with your potion and take it home with you. Use it wisely." Draco said smiling at the children approvingly. Something was oddly familiar about the trio.
The dungeon was buzzing with excitement as Draco approved most of the students potions. As the students began to pack their school bags and clean around their workspace Draco walked over to Harry. "You know, we were here in this dungeon not too long ago. You were the only student who had figured out how to brew liquid luck correctly." Draco said as he took a seat on the edge of the table. Harry smiled sheepishly.
"Looks like I lost my charm." He said avoiding Draco's eyes. As he looked away from the handsome man's face his gaze led down to the toned torso, he had such a perfect view of this morning. Harry stopped his thoughts from spiralling off in the wrong direction. He cleared his throat and shifted in his seat. "Why was there a group of three students, while the rest of the class was paired up in pairs?" Harry asked attempting to avoid the thoughts he had about the blonde man sitting so comfortably on the table so close to him.
Draco smiled genuinely. "Those three, whenever something happens it's always them." He said laughing lightly. "I allow them to work together because the Weasley boy; you see used to be one of the Weasley twins. He's transgender; and I'm trying to get him away from unnecessary bullying." He avoided Harry's gaze. Harry's thoughts swirled in every direction mainly to the memory of Uncle Vernon found out about Harry's sexuality.
"Dudley, why, for the love of God, were you kissing that boy!?" The man yelled. Dudley, Harry's porky cousin looked terrified at his father's reaction. Harry who had returned from boarding school quite recently stood up from his place at the dinner table. He could not stand to see his uncle hurting anyone else especially not because his poor cousin just came out. Despite the way the porky son of a b***h treated him. Nobody deserved this.
Harry pulled Dudley back by his jersey. "There is nothing wrong with that!" Harry shouted. He had no idea what came over him, defending Dudley of all people. He immediately wished he did not have the urge to save everyone anymore. A meaty fist collided with his jaw.
"I should've known that it was you that polluted my poor boys mind with your filthy disease." He said grabbing Harry by his neck
"Sixteen-year-olds can be more brutal than we sometimes realise." He said remorsefully. Draco cleared his throat. "Well, it's lunchtime, shall we." He said allowing Harry to get up and walk past him towards the great hall. Draco hopped of the table and followed Harry up the stairs.
Draco pulled on his jacket. He swallowed the lump in his throat. He hated thinking about Harry before Now that he was forced to live in the prats presence, he could barely look at him without wanting to shake his shoulders and demand answers. Only he couldn't.
All he could do was enjoy Harry's loss of memories as he doesnt hate him He doesnt remember the reason he had
Harry noticed that Draco was consumed in his thoughts. He looked angry or was he sad? Harry couldn't place the emotion. "Draco are you alright?" Harry asked carefully. He knew the man's temper and wasn't about to upset him. Concern at the man's sullen silence flooded Harry's mind.
Draco had been contemplating what he was to do with Potter. He wanted to kiss him, to run his fingers through his hair and claim him as his but he couldn't. He knew once Harry regained his memories, he would want to murder him for taking advantage of the situation.
The raven-haired man continued to prod him. "Please, tell me what is bothering you." He begged.
Harry stopped walking and grabbed Draco's hand. "Stop for a second." Harry said.
The words did not register in Draco's mind. He grabbed Harry's shoulders and pushed him up against the wall. "Draco?" He squeaked out looking rather terrified. Before he could even think about what he was doing he crashed his lips against Harry's.
He cursed as the familiar sensation came back to him and a single tear rolled down Draco Malfoy's cheek. Harry relaxed and kissed him back. He didn't care one bit of what everyone thought. He liked this. It did feel frighteningly familiar to him.
Once Draco pulled away, he locked eyes with Harry. "I screwed up, didn't I?" He questioned in the most pained voice Harry had heard in his life. Harry placed his index finger under Draco's chin forcing him to look up at him.
"No, you did not." Harry said planting a soft kiss on Draco's lips.
