Talia's POV Unlike the Moonlight Pack, where I always woke up to rays of sun in my room, the air here feels cool as I step out of my small house. I can smell the earth and a hint of flowers nearby, the scent lingering softly in the morning breeze. I stretch my arms and wince a little. Yesterday took more out of me than I expected—meeting Jasper, Luna, and Finn; dealing with that stubborn purple smoke; and falling under Greta’s stare. They are all weirdos, but the fun I had meeting them hasn’t left me. Especially the feeling I had after sniffing the flower Luna gave me. For the first time in years, I feel like I truly belong.
