The phone buzzed again, Raven managed to silence it. Raven looked up to see Leo looking around.
“Huh?” the others looked at Leo confused.
“Thought I heard something. I’m just ready to put some claws and teeth into that fucker who did this,” mused Leo. “Come on gents, let’s get some actual work done.” Raven let out a sigh, whoever called her have better have a good excuse.
Raven waited a few minutes to see if the men would come back. Then she slipped back to her car. Looking at her phone to see who she needed to murder for nearly getting her caught.
She turned on her phone, Oliver. Instead of feeling upset, it sent a jolt through her. ‘I suppose it’s only fair, since I woke him this morning,’ thought Raven.
