CHAPTER 77 — WHEN CONTROL SHATTERS The morning light filtered through the floor-to-ceiling windows, but it did little to warm the atmosphere. Sienna sat at the head of the conference table this time. Not because she demanded it—but because Damien stepped aside, finally letting her occupy the space that had always been hers in every sense except authority. The Westwoods were present—Charles, Eleanor, Isabelle—and for the first time, Damien’s family wasn’t in complete alignment against her. Every movement, every calculated pause, told Sienna exactly where they stood. And yet, nothing compared to the tension in Damien himself.
