As I continued forward, I caught scent of a huge pile of bones right in the middle of my path. I skirted it carefully, my flank brushing along the cave wall. I shuddered to think about what might be on that wall that was now on me, but I’d have to worry about getting clean later. Outside, I heard the distant sounds of battle and hoped Belial was all right, especially when a particularly loud roar echoed through the cave.
