The way the emotion in Alaric's eyes changed when he was Silas and I together didn't escape my sight. I'm not sure what he means with those stares, but I can say for sure that he is not pleased to see us — or maybe just me.
Silas turned his back to me and greeted Alaric with a smile on his face, like a father who just saw his son. Like usual, Alaric nodded at him as a way for recognition. His eyes landed on Silas first before it turned to me.
