ROMAN

CHAPTER ELEVEN

Reign got off the bed and went to have her breakfast,she looked at the food and lost her appetite. She hated the way Roman spoke to her, she took her phone and opened the door to leave. "Where are you going?" Roman asked noticing that Reign was about to leave the room,he looked and her food and it was untouched. "You haven't finished your food" Reign shut the door and walked away without saying anything. "Why does he care now, wasn't he mad at me for no reason?" Reign mumbled to herself. Desmond saw Reign coming out of the Manor and walked to her, "ma'am are you going somewhere?" He asked. "Yes and am going alone"Reign said leaving no room for argument and walked away,she hailed a taxi and it drove away. Reign was lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice the taxi had stopped and that the driver was talking to her. "Excuse me miss we've reached your destination" he said more louder grabbing Reign's attention. "Oh" Reign payed the driver and got off. Marie was in her living room scrolling through her phone when the doorbell rang. "Who could that be?" She went to open the door revealing sad looking Reign. "Hey besties"she greeted and hugged Reign. "Hey Marie"Reign greeted and went to sit on the couch. "Can I stay here?" Reign asked and Marie knew that things weren't right between her and Roman. "Yeah sure,are you and Roman fight?" She asked sitting beside her, "you know you can tell me anything,am here to listen" Reign took a deep breath and turned to face Marie. "We were fine before I went to the bathroom,when I got out he was on the phone and he looked angry so l asked him what's wrong after her was off the phone but he coldly told me off"

"Don't worry everything is going to be okay" Marie said stroking Reign's hair,they stayed like that for awhile before Marie went to make lunch for them.

Roman walked into the dinning room to have lunch expecting to find Reign already there having lunch but he only found Axel having his lunch. "Where is Reign?" He asked Axel. "Don't know I haven't seen her since morning"he answered and went back to have his lunch. "Desmond!" He called for Reign's guard, "yes sir" Desmond rushed into the dining room because a minute late could end his life. "Where is my woman?" He asked in a calm tone which was not a good sign, Desmond knew he was in for what was in-store for him. "She left Don" he answered with his head down not meeting Roman's eyes. "She left and why are you here?" He asked calmly playing with the knife on the dining table. "She didn't want me to accompany her"

"Are you dumb or what you could have followed her and stayed where she was until she was ready to come home" Roman's blood was boiling,if any of his enemies got an Intel that Reign left the house without any guards they wouldn't miss an opportunity to get him through Reign. "Desmond if anything happens to her am going to kill you but it won't be an easy death for you" Desmond left the house ashamed of himself,he would forgive himself if something happened to his Regina.

Reign looked at her ringing phone and tossed it away. "Come on Reign just answered the phone" Marie said,she knew Reign wanted to answer the call but she was just being stubborn. "Why is he calling now,wasn't he the one who didn't want me around" Roman called again and Marie looked at her with the you -better- pick- that -call -up

"Don't look at me like that am not talking to him" Reign said and went to Marie's room,Marie just sighed at her friend's stubbornness and answered the phone. "Baby please tell me where you are" Roman said in a desperate voice. "Roman it's Marie she is at my place"

"Marie please give Reign the phone"

"I'm sorry Roman but she doesn't want to talk to you" Marie said feeling sorry for Roman,the poor guy was so worried but her stupid friend was too egoistic. Roman hanged up,Marie just shook her head and went to make herself coffee. The coffee was not even done when the doorbell rang, "well that was fast"she said looking at her watch, she went and opened the door. Roman stormed into the house looking around like a crazy person. "She is that way" Marie said pointing at the direction of her room.

Roman entered the room and found Reign lying on the bed looking at the ceiling,she saw Roman and turned her facing the other side. Roman was taken aback by her behavior,they were just fine this morning. "Babe if I have done anything to hurt you just shout at but do just leave the house without your guards I have a lot of enemies out there" Roman said but Reign still refused to ask his presence. "Babe what have I done?" He asked sitting beside her on the bed,he brought his hand to touch Reign's shoulder but she pushed it away. "Please forgive me "Roman has never done this before, Reign was the first woman he had ever considered having a relationship with. "Reign look at me" he said softly, Reign turned to look at him. "Why are you mad at me?"

"I'm not"

"Then why did you leave the house and refused to pick my calls up?" Roman asked with his perfect brow raised. "It because you spoke rudely to me"

"When did l_okay I'm sorry come here" Roman spread his arms for Reign to hug him. "Don't ever do that again okay?" He said which Reign nodded. "Let's go home"

"Can we go get ice cream first?" She asked looking at Roman through her lashes. "Okay" Roman said and kissed her forehead.

Reign said her good-bye to Marie and left with roman. "Can we go get ice cream?" Reign asked giving Roman her puppy eyes,which she knew that he could not say no to. "Sure" Roman said and made a U-turn.

Roman pulled up Infront of the ice cream shop. He got off the car and went to Reign's side and opened the door for her, Roman gave her his hand helping her out. "Thank you"she said and pecked his cheek. Everybody's attention was now on them,the men looked at Reign with lust while the women looked at Roman with lust and Reign with envy. They walked into the shop and Roman pulled the chair for Reign and took his own. "Good afternoon ma'am ,sir"the waitress greeted. "What can I get you"

"I'll have mint chocolate chip what about you?"

"I'll have Neapolitan" the waitress noted their orders and left. The two were busy conversing with each other not aware of the envy stares that were directed to them. The stares were from three different people, Jaxon, Audrey and an unknown man, the waitress came back with their ice cream and Reign digged in as they continue getting to know each other. "You give me a pink girl vibes" Roman said. "My favorite colors are black and gold"Reign saif without looking up from her ice cream,Roman nodded and continued watching Reign enjoy her ice cream. Reign finished her ice cream and was surprised to see that Roman had not touched his ice cream. "Why didn't you have you ice cream?"she asked with her brows raised. "I was watching you" he answered truthfully. There was some cream on Reign's lips, so he leaned and licked it then captured her lips in a short kiss. He pulled back and sat back leaving Reign a blushing mess. Jaxon fished his hand under the table and clenched his teeth,Audrey looked at Jaxon and felt like killing Reign. She thought that after getting rid of Reign,Jaxon will be hers forever. "Are you done or do you still want to order another ice cream?" Roman asked getting ready to call the waitress. "No let's just go home" Reign said as she stood up,Roman left the bill on the table and walked out of the ice cream shop with his hand on Reign's waist.

They were still at the parking lot when Reign saw Jaxon and Audrey leaving the shop,she thought that this was the perfect time for her revenge. "Roman!" She called out,Roman turned to face her only to have his lips to be captured in a passionate kiss. Roman pulled her into him deepening the kiss,he licked Reign's lips asking for access which she gave him without any defiance. Even after Jaxon and Audrey had left,the two didn't break the kiss. Their tongue fought for dominance, no one was ready to give up. Reign pulled away breathless,Roman laughed at her as she tried to even her breathe. "Let's go home"Roman opened the door for Reign and went to his side.
