I grabbed two beers from the fridge and headed to the pool area. The night air carried a gentle breeze, and the city lights sparkled below like scattered diamonds. My bare feet padded across the warm tiles.
Stella lounged on one of the pool chairs, her curves highlighted by the soft glow of the underwater lights.
I paused for a moment, taking in the view. Stella's hair cascaded over her shoulders, and her red dress hugged every curve in ways that made my mouth go dry. The pool lights cast an ethereal blue glow across her skin.
"Thought you might want something cold." I handed her one of the beers and settled into the adjacent chair.
"Always thinking ahead." She took a long sip, her lips curving into a smile. "It's so peaceful up here. No wonder you picked this place."
