Ethan's POV
I kicked the door shut in the bedroom with my foot, the soft click blending with Stella's giggle as I nuzzled her neck. I took slow, deliberate steps toward the bed, looking into her eyes—those gorgeous eyes that had me hooked from the start.
Lowering her onto the mattress, I loomed over her. I loved how her chest rose and fell with quickening breaths, anticipation sparking in her eyes.
"You're gorgeous, you know that?"
Her cheeks flushed at the compliment, and she shifted beneath me, anticipation crackling between us. I wanted to devour her but forced myself to slow down to draw out the anticipation. This was a woman worth savoring.
