Stella's POV I stabbed the elevator button, my heart still racing from that ridiculous ice cream not-date. What possessed me to tell him I was single? The doors closed with a ding, and I caught my reflection in the mirrored walls. My cheeks were still flushed pink. "Stupid, stupid, stupid." I pressed my forehead against the cool metal. I could text him and play it off as a joke. 'Hey, just kidding about being single! I totally have a boyfriend. His name is... George. From London. You wouldn't know him.'
