The bell rings for lunch I'm currently seated at 'Tasties 'n' Yummies',a cafeteria just across college.Grabbing two burgers and a cup of milkshake,I turn to go back to my seat when I bump into someone as my lunch and his phone fall to the ground
"Can't you watch where you're...Oh My God I'm so sorry"I said at once realizing I'd bumped into Alec Grayson
"You're sorry? Who's gonna fix this mess?"he asked looking down at his shirt that had been ruined by stains from my milkshake.
"It wasn't intentional, really"I tried explaining
"Come on man, that's enough"another guy says patting his back
"Great!my phone's broken as well.Give me yours, now!"he demanded
"Why would I give my phone to you?"I asked unsure of what he had in mind
"I wanna call someone to come fix the mess you created.Unless you wanna do it yourself?"he retorted
"Fine."I said, unlocking my phone and giving it to him.
He tapped a few buttons when his phone rang, then he returned my phone
"Let's call it even then"he said walking away.I didn't understand this guy, one moment he's pissed and the next,he's over it.A second later, my phone rang.It was a call from an unknown number, I took it
"Hello?"I spoke into my phone...silence...
"Just checking "the receiver at the other end replied,I could swear that voice belonged to Alec.I returned to the counter to order something else before sitting with my friends
"Okay girl, what just happened here?"Ethan asks as I glanced at my wrist watch,I had a meeting with the realtor today
"Guys I'm leaving"I turn to Ellie and Violet who were both as confused as Ethan.

"I'm gonna lose it"I say to Ethan over the phone
"Come on girl, it's just a frat.No big deal"he says adjusting the phone so I could see him, we're on a video call.
"How do I look Nova?"he asks with a grin
"You look like my boyfriend"I joke as we laugh
"Get your ass over here baby.And remember, DON'T BE LATE"he says emphasizing on 'don't be late'.I roll my eyes
"Whatever"I said hanging up
I pick up a strapless red gown that hangs just below my thigh.Stepping into my shoes,I wear my makeup heading downstairs.
"Going somewhere?"mom asks adjusting my gown
"Yeah mom, it's a frat party"I reply smiling
"Don't be late and...be a good girl"she says stroking my hair,oh how I love it when she does that
"I will.Mom?"
"Yeah?"
"I found an apartment close to college"I told her
"Are we still talking about this?"she asked with a smug expression
"But we've had this discussion already.Besides, this place is affordable and it's tiring attending classes from home"I said hoping she sees reason with me
"At least you get to eat your Mama's dish here"she teased.She was trying to get me to change my mind, I didn't smile
"Can you manage all by yourself?"she asks with concern
"I can and besides, I'll visit once in a while"I reassured
"Fine, do what you must then "she gave in
"I love you mom"I smiled excitedly, kissing her cheeks
"Love you too baby, let's talk when you're back"
"Bye mom"I wave at her before hailing a cab

The room's filled with collegers making out at different corners.I squirm uncomfortably
"Hello pretty"I turn finding a red head behind me
"Hello"I reply nervously
"Wanna dance?"
"No thanks, I've got a date"I answered as he mouths an Oh before leaving
"Nova!"I heard Ethan call from a corner as I walked up to him.He's with Ellie and Violet

I hear other students whisper as I smile inwardly.My friends weren't left out
"Seriously girl, you cute"Ellie admired
"Thanks"I blushed
"At this rate girl, you're the perfect candidate for Beauty queen.And a queen ,deserves a king.Now who better than Alec Grayson could be your king?"Violet said as we all laughed.We drank,danced and had fun.I was telling my friends a funny joke when they all suddenly went mute with their eyes behind me
"Nova,can I have a dance with you?"I heard behind me as I turned to see Alec.I couldn't help the excitement within me as I took his hand and we walked to the dance floor.I heard whispers, chuckles and hate comments from all around me,I didn't mind.
His hands on my waist felt so warm yet electrifying, sending chills down my spine.He was looking extremely hot today,his eyes a hint of attraction and possessiveness,his lips, alluring.Suddenly,all I could think of was nothing but how his lips would taste on mine.

Soon, the dance was over and I returned to my seat

"Seriously? Can't wait to get laid?"Topher teases as I walked up to him and the guys.He told me her name, actually.
I had decided to get her laid and the moment she walked in,I couldn't help it.
Her hair,her eyes that were seductive without having to try yet looking so innocent,her nose,her lips that called me in everytime I glanced at her.I lost control when she bit on her lips during that dance,all I wanted was to kiss her.
"Stop daydreaming, she's not like other bitches, you can't get her laid"Dylan says jolting me from my thoughts.
"You think so?"I ask with a mischievous look.As usual,Lucas is with a girl while Topher's date holds her phone to her face
"She's no different from other girls.If she plays hard to get, I'll just wait till we're good.Then I'll do my thing, just f**k her and dump her sick ass.Who's she anyways?"I say with a smirk
"How bout this?If you can get her laid,my BMW's yours"Lucas said like he was almost certain I'd lose
