"About the apartment, can I move out already?"she pouts, blinking her eyes

"Yes you can darling, you know I can't stop you"Leslie whispers

I've been thinking about her for days now.I can't get her out of my head no matter how hard I try.Nova's really messing with my head.I groaned stepping out of the shower.Dressing up,I shut my door about to step into the elevator when I see the face I've been thinking about.Am I seeing things now?

"Nova? What are you doing here?"I asked

"I...I moved in recently.Do you live here too?"she asks avoiding locking eyes with me.What?Is she shy now?

"I do"I replied

"Oh"she mouths"Are you stalking me?"

"Stalking you?"I chuckle"I should ask that,I mean I moved in before you"I answered clearly amused.She's living here?Of course she's living here! Isn't this what they call fate?My thoughts were jolted when the elevator dings and she steps out

"Is that your apartment?"I asked surprised

"Yeah...?"

"Wow.Mine's on the left over there.So you're what now?My nextdoor neighbor? Isn't this just great?"

"Hey there's nothing great about this"she says as she inputs her password and unlocks the door, stepping in.I held the door before she could close it after her

"Ain't you gonna call me in?"I quizzed

"Back off Alec"she shunned"Oh and...here you go"she said, opening her luggage and handing my hoodie to me.There's no way I'm taking that back

"I don't need it, you either keep it, or get rid of it"I told her, walking away.

It's been a week now and Alec hasn't returned to his apartment.I don't wanna see him, it's not that.I mean I do want to see him...ughh! What am I saying?

He's been ignoring me,we cross paths in college but it's just that, crossing paths.No heys, no hellos and I must admit I'm worried about him.Wierdly, I've grown used to having his attention and all that.I wanna see him,I really do.

Making up my mind, I step into my flip-flops and close the door after me, walking to his apartment.

Knock!! there's no reply.I knocked again and...

"Who's there?"I heard from inside, wait a minute, that's a female voice.The door opens revealing a blonde who's half naked with just a short towel hanging way below her chest.

"Who's there Amelia?"I heard him ask as he emerges with a thin towel on his waist.Great!Now I've finally made a fool of myself

"I don't know, just some b***h who won't say anything.Seems like she's lost"the lady, Amelia replies.Now I'm a b***h too?

"Well she'd better get going cause we're busy over..."Alec stops talking as he sights me.His expression turns blank as we stare at each other

"Why are you here?"he asks with an indifferent look.Amelia wraps her hand around his torso while teasing his n*****s with her left fingers.Now I regret ever thinking about him and coming over here

"Nevermind, it's nothing serious, I'll take my leave now"I said as tears threatened to fall off my eyes.I was stupid to think he'd fallen for me, I walked towards my apartment barely holding it in.

"Nova!Nova!"he called after me but I just ignored

"Come on babe, let's go in"I heard Amelia say

Inside my apartment,I sat on my bed, sobbing.I was stupid to think I could change him,now I'm getting my heart broken.I couldn't stop falling even after my friends warned me.
