He was startled back to reality when the jet touched down at the airport in Ohio. When he walked into the terminal the first thing he saw was his little girl running his way smiling from ear to ear.
Daddy, she screamed, as she jumped into his arms hugging and kissing him. "I sure have missed you."
"I sure have missed you too angel."
"I knew you were okay, I just knew it."
"Yes angel, I"m fine."
She held onto his neck so tight that he thought he might choke for a second. Then he realized that the thought was just to keep himself from breaking completely down in front of her, and a whole lot of people. He was already crying some and it wouldn"t take much.
